Precious is an engaging and imaginative physical comedy theatre incursion that tells the story of Gus, a young girl whose parents happen to be brilliant, overprotective inventors. Having devoted their lives to shielding their daughter from every conceivable hazard, they have wrapped her in a world of complex safety gadgets out of a deep-seated fear of what might happen in the outside world. Packed with physical humor, heart, and theatrical flair, this dynamic production explores whether Gus's innate spirit of adventure and bravery can punch through her parents' overprotective anxieties and help her finally step out of the bubble wrap to discover the wonders of the world on her own terms.

This thought-provoking production tackles the critical issue of consent in the digital age, exploring the complexities of relationships, online safety, and the impact of social media on young people. Using the powerful voices of local police officers, social workers, guidance officers, parents, teenagers, and psychologists, \”Red Flags\” delves into real-life experiences and explores sensitive topics such as:

  • The dangers of sharing intimate images online.

  • Understanding and respecting boundaries.

  • Healthy relationships vs. unhealthy relationships.

  • The impact of social media on body image and self-esteem.

  • Navigating consent in a digital world.
